7 hours per day

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum high school diploma; prefer EMT/CNA/RN certification
• Possess a current CPR/AED certificate and a current standard first aid card.
• Knowledge of behavior and characteristics of students, current office methods and procedures including computer skills.
• Ability to arrange and keep accurate records and files.
• Possess professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to provide CPR/AED or first aid to injured or ill students and staff.
• Ability to deal tactfully with staff, students and parents concerning health related issues.
• Ability to apply specific laws, rules and Humboldt County School District policies and procedures.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, quickly and effectively handle emergency situations and establish effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.
• May require assisting students with toileting issues, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
